03.19.04 - Do I ever cross your mind, anytime? Do you ever wake up reaching out for me...

:: Friday, April 18, 2003 ::
I am tired.

That has basically summed up my mood for today, barely surviving on about 3 hrs of sleep on Wednesday night (morning?) and 5 hrs of sleep last night (morning?). Anyway, I was almost late for work today, having woken up at 10, and having to get to work by 11. Luckily a lot of the clocks in my house are fast in comparison to...well, the rest of the world's, so I ended up being early for work by 1 minute. Oh yeah...the early bird gets the worm, or at White Rose, the early girl gets...*pause, contemplation and silence* nothing. No wait, that's a lie, the early girl gets a few cents more than the girl who arrives late. Mind you, it's about 3 or 4 cents, but that's better than no cents. But right now, I am making no sense. (Cue for a fake laugh)

Hey Looky-here:

Which American Idol Judge Are You?
Hmm...don't know whether to jump for joy or cower (Cowell...............) in the corner. My opinions about Paula seem to be conflicting, as in, I disagree with her judgements occasionally, and on some talk shows, I sometimes wonder why she says some things, but I play her songs in my car proudly(Cold-Hearted Snake, anyone?...or maybe you prefer Promise of a New Day?) and I defend her from a lot of the comments that are made about her. So...seems as if I have put myself into a dilemma, although that could be arguable because no one seems to care what I really think of Paula except me, hahaha.

Speaking if A.I. (as always, at least in person, anyway), can I just express my distaste for the Bolt judges board? It really bothers me how topics aren't bumped to the top when they're replied to, leaving you checking every so often to see if anyone replied to a post. Plus, it always seems to be the same topics over and over again, "Simon is rude!" or "Paula is the worst judge" or "Randy needs a new vocab"...yes, people. We all get the point. Maybe the board wouldn't have so many topics if people would just stick to posting on one thread that is of relevance. Plus, there's someone on there who keeps leaving topic lines without a message, and even thought it might not be on purpose, it's leaving me to peeve over the wasted seconds.

On a related note: the Americanidolboard group at MSN totally rocks; kudos to everyone there!

That was my mini-rave/rant of the day. One might argue that I should maybe be talking about "important" things like the war and politics...but that stuff is so boring. Give me A.I. any day!

By the way: tomorrow, before I go to work, I'm totally doing a shopping round at Chapter's or Shopper's or Wal-Mart...I must get In Touch and People Extra or I think that I might eventually spontaneously combust (which is possible, as Shaz might say, lol...)

Tired again. Must...go...nap...
Until next time!
